Philippe Karrer is a Swiss graphic designer focusing on book design, visual identities and new media. Philippe Karrer has ongoing collaborations with institutions, curators, artists, researchers and designers. In 2012, Philippe Karrer founded Spheres Projects, a publishing projects creating books and editions in close collaboration with artists, writers, galleries and institutions.

Philippe Karrer currently teaches as an interim professor at the HfG Karlsruhe (2023) and regularly gives seminars with Ariane Koch at the Institute for Art and Design Education at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland in Basel (FHNW). He is also a member of the Arts Commission of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft. Karrer has lectured on design-related topics.
