La Parade de l’aveuglement; Dorian Sari

This catalogue accompanies Dorian Sari’s solo exhibition at the Centre Culturel Suisse in Paris. Dorian Sari is an observer of politics, emotions and social movements. The main core of his work is looking into human beings, cultures and he projects them with personal and collective mythology in his installations into completely fictional, theatrical, cinematographical scenes, based on psychoanalytic interpretation of man and his symbols.

In the catalogue, full-bleed video-stills were converted into a combination of dots, lines and squares, to translate the artist’s intentions for each piece. The rather rough section of video-stills is followed by a glossy section containing exhibition views and written contributions by Claire Hoffmann, Léopoldine Turbat, Dorian Sari and Clara Schulmann. The cover is understood as a visual index for the book.
